A yacht was on fire in West Palm Beach on Sunday.

West Palm Beach Fire Rescue is working the blaze and called additional units to the scene at about 8 a.m.

The fire started on an 80-foot yacht that was out of the water at a private marina off Flagler Drive and 41st Street just before 7 a.m.

Officials said the yacht's captain noticed smoke, so he parked it and got the crew off. Everyone was evacuated from the boat.

Thousands of people Celebrated Lancaster on Friday night, with performances on the Binns Park stage and a fireworks display that launched the county's annual Fourth of July festivities.

The 25 Lancaster city firefighters on hand, however, were not celebrating. They were carefully watching falling embers and scanning rooftops for any spark that could ignite a blaze.
