LANCASTER, Pa.

A Lancaster city firefighter was injured during Friday night's Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

Capt. Ken Barton is now in stable condition at Lancaster General Hospital.

News 8 is told that he broke several bones after falling nearly 15 feet Friday night.

News 8 was originally told that Barton fell from the bucket of the truck. But now firefighters say he was actually on the platform of the ladder on top of the truck when he fell.
