Ember, the canine fire and life safety educator for the Greensboro Fire Department, has acted out this scenario hundreds of times. On this day she performed the skit before a crowd of more than 100 young children and parents in the amphitheater at Four Season's Town Centre.

At approximately 19:32 Hours on Wednesday 18th of November 1987, passengers coming up the Piccadilly line escalator noticed a small fire showing through the wooden steps of the escalator about 20 ft or so from the top.

Top News: Baghdad Propane Blast Injures Several

Iraqis fired weapons in the air to celebrate the return of electricity to a central Baghdad neighborhood Thursday, hitting a large propane tank and causing an explosion that injured several people.
